Barcelona is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. A lot of tourists come every year to see what Barcelona has to offer. If you’re planning on coming to Barcelona, here’s a list of some amazing places you can visit for free.
- Park Güell: A tip you may have heard of (or not), you can visit Park Güell for free! Just arrive before 8am and you’ll be able to stay as long as you want. Isn’t that amazing? Park Güell is one of the most famous works by Gaudi – it’s full of colours and beautiful mosaic.
- Ciutadella Park: This huge park is perfect for lovers of nature and architecture alike. You can enjoy Cascada Monumental, another one of Gaudí’s famous monuments, or even rent a boat on the lake! It’s really worth a visit.
- Magic Fountain of Montjuïc: This original fountain light show is pretty amazing, it’s one thing you must experience if you’re coming to Barcelona. You can watch the show for free and it runs from 5 March to 5 January, (more or less three times a week) but we advise you to check the official website for the schedule.
- Bunker del Carmel: If you want to have one of the best views of the city, this is the place for you. The good thing is that you won’t have to pay anything to enjoy this wonderful view. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a sunrise or a sunset… or why not both?
